CFO PRO was established in June 2001 by its principal Gavin Doig - originally operating as GSD Business Consulting - for the purpose of offering outsourced Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller services, accounting system solutions and business-management advice to small to medium sized businesses as well as junior stock exchange listed companies. Typically these businesses need the services of a CFO or a Financial Controller but often cannot justify, afford or attract such services on a full time basis. CFO PRO provides a cost-effective solution to this dilemma, offering its services on an hourly rates or monthly retainer basis, or a blend of both.

From time to time, medium and larger businesses need accounting services on a short-term assignment or project-specific basis. CFO PRO also offers the ideal staffing solution to this need.
